The University of Utah’s Carbon Capture Multidisciplinary Simulation Center (CCMSC) software framework (Uintah) is used to simulate a myriad of fluid / structure interactions.  

The PIDX I/O library has been integrated with Uintah in order to support I/O scaling on 100K+ cores.  

PIDX and ViSUS framework solutions have been integrated with the KAUST Adaptive Reacting Flow Solvers (KARFS) to perform high performance I/O and interactive streaming visualization of large scale combustion simulations in the supercomputing lab of the King Abdullah University of Technology.

Enabling visualization and analysis of terascale imagery from high resolution microscopy acquisitions of non-human primate (NHP) brain.

This project is in collaboration with the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science, Moran Eye Center, University of Utah.
